We wish to extend our

sincere sympathy to

Stan Peerless and his

family on the recent loss

of his wife, Linda Peerless.

Dear West Side Family -

Thank you does not even begin to ex-

press the gratitude that Pam and I have for

the phone calls, cards, visits, and most of all

prayers we received fro our church family

during my illness for the last three months.

Although there are hurdles to cross, I have

reason to believe that I am on the way to

recovery. Again, a great big THANKS for

all of your love and support.

Disciple Women's Fellowship will be planning the 145th Birthday celebration of

their organization. Those interested in helping plan this event are asked to meet on

Thursday, September 5 at 7 PM in the Fellowship Classroom.

Pastor Mark will begin a fall study from the book, “When Christians Get It Wrong”,

(revised edition) by Adam Hamilton. An electronic edition can be ordered from Ama-

zon or if you prefer the actual book, Pastor Mark will be happy to order it for you at a

cost of $11.45. “This study will help you gain a different way of understanding the issues that keep people away from Christianity and keep Christians from living

a more compelling faith”. Dates for the study will be

Sunday, October 6, 13 and 27 and November 3,10 and 24, at 6:00 PM. These

dates are tentative and could change in a couple of weeks but please mark them on your calendar

as listed until Pastor Mark tells you differently. Please sign up by Sunday, September

22 so that books can be ordered promptly.
