From the President Hello to the Black & Teal members,

We’re now well under way with the second season at the NPNA and to see new members at

Power is absolutely awesome. The efforts of many at our club are being rewarded showing

growth and the development of our club and members.

I would like to say welcome to Mernda Netball Club and I’m sure we will have plenty of

years ahead to create a fun and healthy rivalry.

NPNA are feeling really good after putting together the first season of the association and

looking forward to finish off the year with further success.

Again NPNA have had further interest from another club and teams interested in joining the

NPNA for season 1 2020. LPNC will offer our assistance to future clubs and hopefully an an-

nouncement will follow shortly.

Netball in the City of Whittlesea is looking very healthy and with the development of further

teams and clubs from this municipality will show real strength in the North. This will help to

show the council that they need to start spending money and looking after the clubs and the

Northern Pride Netball Association

The committee has been working on fundraising over the past months and you will see that

the chocolates are arriving and we have the Whittlesea show approaching which is another

great time to raise money for our club, so please do you part in helping us raise this money.

To all our members that wish to take their netball to another level please get involved in the

trials commencing in October, more details attached in the newsletter.

Again please take the time to acknowledge our coaches as they have put in their time to

assist the members of our club. I can’t speak highly enough for the time and work that the

coaches, team managers and all volunteers put in for the club.

We have our AGM approaching in October / November and your committee would love for

more people to get involved,

Be proud of your club and continue supporting netball in the Black & Teal.

Whittlesea Show—Volunteers Needed We have again secured a food stall at the 2019 Whittlesea Show – 2nd & 3rd November. Our stall sells, Hot Dogs, Egg and Bacon sandwiches, dim sims, Ham-burgers and drinks.

This is LPNC’s major fundraiser for the year, so please help make it successful.

We require helpers for the weekend, along with any donations or contacts to help

keep our costs down and our profits up

Cadbury Fundraiser We ask that each player take a Cadbury chocolate fundraising box to raise money for the

club. Money from the fundraiser is due back on 7th October 2019.

NPNA Rep Trials

Northern Pride Netball Association Representative Trials are being held in October & No-

vember as detailed below. We have placed a link on our website homepage or you can
