Cancer Support Group

A community support group for those impacted by cancer your-self or with a loved one. Please join our group on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00p.m. in the Church library.

Sojourners Sojourners will meet on Wed. Sept. 2nd at 11:30am in the Fellowship

Hall. Bring a bagged lunch. Dessert and tea will be furnished. Program: Do You See What I See by Jack Graham - this will be a great program with a surprise at the end. Also, there will be a sign-up sheet for a surprise activity later in the month. Come join the fun!

College students are heading off to school or returning for the new school year. Please send us the mailing address of any of our col-lege students or recent HS grads that are going to tech schools. Prayer cards & other groups like to “keep in touch.” Please email the addressed to: [email protected] or write on a card & place in offering plate. If the student address is the same as last year—Please resubmit, so we will be sure we have the right address.

Note Cards are available in the Church Office for a $10.00 donation to future Missions. The cards are a beautiful pen & ink drawing of HFUMC done by Steven Lee Johnson.

CAMPBELL SOUP LABEL BAR CODES UPC’S! The John Benson Chapter, our local DAR chapter is collecting these la-bels. They support eight schools, providing educational opportunities for them. Please continue to save your labels and bring to the red box on the overflow table or the church office.

The Hart County Clothes Closet Food Pantry It is our custom to bring food items the first Sunday of each month. Please bring your food items on Sunday, September 6th and leave them in the baskets at the back of the Sanctuary or there is a box in the Con-temporary Lobby. Thanks again for your support!!

Hart Interdenominational Ministry to host ‘Hartwell Helps Expo’ on Saturday, October 3 from 8:30-11:30am at the Bell Family YMCA. The purpose of the event is to assist those in the community with needed re-sources & info available through local county agencies & support groups.
