A ugust has

been a busy,

hot month

for us all!

We have harvested a lot

of vegetables from our

garden, which we have

enjoyed in our salads and

on our sandwiches. With

the month of August be-

ing so hot we could not

resist East Coast Custard

again. We were lucky to

have them here on one

of the ho est days of the

year.

We had a blast with Harbor Light Hospice who came in and played bingo with us and brought us terrific prizes

for the bingo winners. We also enjoyed the music from the Seventh Day Evangelist Day choir. They played

different musical instruments including the cello, violin, and the flute. The choir sang us wonderful old hymns.

The preacher did a short service that everyone really enjoyed. Dorothy C. said “I remember going to church

with my mother when I was a li le girl and singing those hymns. What wonderful memories those songs

brought back.”

We have been extremely busy with our Ran-

dall University Projects which we had lots of

fun with our religion and inspira2onal litera-

ture. We have made inspira2onal art work,

where we took inspira2onal quotes and

framed and painted them. Helen G. said she

enjoyed making the inspira2onal art work

most of all! We had a blast making mosaic

vases and welcome signs. Our weather exper-

iments were very fun and challenging.
