Kings Gate HOA Management Letter – SEPTEMBER 2013
I would like to welcome Tanya Harrington as your new Lifestyle Director (aka- Activities Director). Tanya comes to us
from Lakeside Plantation in North Port, FL. Tanya has extensive experience as an activities director and is happy to be a
part of the team here at Kings Gate. Please stop by the management office when you get the chance and give her a warm
welcome.
Earth Balance will be here the last week of September to maintain the preserves. If you have any areas of concern, please
feel free to contact the management office.
SECURITY
If you see anything suspicious, please call the police department immediately. Please observe the 18 MPH speed limit. All new
residents must register with the management office. Additional gate remotes may be purchased at the management office for
$38.10.
SAFETY
I can’t express enough my concerns for the safety of your grandchildren. We have more vehicles on our roads and children riding
bicycles and skateboards weaving right to left across the street. Please remind your family that bicycles should remain on the right
side of the road and walkers should be on the left side of the road near the curb. Please do not let your grandchild drive a golf cart
unless he/she is an experienced driver. For the health and safety of your grandchildren, no one under the age of 12 is permit-
ted in the spa.
PET OWNERS
Charlotte County and Kings Gate require that all pets be leashed when walking in the neighborhood. Dogs should not be allowed to
run loose and homeowners should control barking if possible, especially, during the night hours. Please remember to pick up after
your pet and try to avoid having your pet eliminate on your neighbor’s lawn by using common areas.
LANDSCAPING Valley Crest will be mowing every week and will resume their normal schedule weather permitting.
REMINDERS
*When smoking in any of the common areas, please be courteous to those around you by moving to an area that is less pop-
ulated.
*ANY MODIFICATION TO THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME REQUIRES AN ALTERATION APPLICATION AND
AN ARC APPROVAL BEFORE ANY WORK IS TO COMMENCE.
*Please remember there is NO overnight on street parking permitted and this includes cul-de-sacs. When golf carts are vis-
iting on the roads, please be courteous to oncoming vehicles.
*Please DO NOT pick flowers on other resident's properties.*
*Please DO NOT feed the wildlife in the preserves or anywhere within the community.*
** There is no pedestrian walking, exercising your dogs, riding your bicycle or golf carts allowed on the golf cart paths if
you're not playing golf. **
* The speed limit throughout the community is 18 MPH *
**We are receiving complaints in reference to people parking in the driveways of other homeowners that have departed.
This is NOT permitted and I have been asked by owners to convey this to all residents. **
