any loan! There’s no monkey business… just the plain ol’ financial goodness TACU

provides!

So go bananas over all the advantages… join TACU and be a credit union member

today!

Family Resources Coats for Kids

Give those old coats to kids in need

TACU will once again be a drop-off site for the Family Resources Coats for Kids drive. If there is

anyone who would like to donate children’s winter coats, jackets, scarves, hats, mittens, and boots

they may bring their items to TACU from October 1 through October 25. Donations must be

cleaned and in good repair. In the past, we were able to collect 705 coats, hats, mittens, and

scarves. We hope that you can help make this year even more successful!

Coats will be distributed Thursday, October 28 from 10:00-11:00am and 6:00-7:00pm and Friday,

October 29 from 10am-1pm at the Lighthouse of Assembly of God at 762 Highway 16 West in

Tomah.

2011 Christmas Club Accounts Now Open

Since the weather is still relatively warm, it’s hard to

imagine buying Christmas gifts and putting up a tree.

But there are only about two and a half months until

Christmas and the 2010 Christmas Club accounts

closed, leaving you with the money and freedom to

begin holiday purchases.

Using Christmas Club accounts allow you to save on

holiday spending throughout the year. All you need to

do is put some money in the account each month

based on how much you spent this year and arrange to

have that amount automatically deducted from your

paycheck or checking account. This way, next year

you'll have all the money you need for those holiday

gifts. Plus, you'll earn interest rather than paying

interest.

The minimum to open a Christmas Club account is $25

and you receive your choice of a glass Christmas

ornament from TACU each year you open an account.

Ornaments become available October 1 at TACU. Don’t

forget to ask for yours!

If you would like to open a TACU Christmas Club

Account, simply stop by TACU to set up the account

and receive your free ornament.

Tomah High Student Branch Update

Despite a tentative start, the Tomah High School Student Branch opened with a bang

September 17.

Creative students tried their luck at submitting entries to name the new branch. Entries

were due September 24. TACU employees are now selecting the winning name to be

announced at the THS homecoming pep rally. The top winner will receive a tailgating pack-

age including a portable gas grill, gift certificate to Wal-mart, and other treats.

Reminder to Parents:

Your Tomah High School Student may open a savings account at the student branch, even

if they are under 18. But everyone (even if over 18) must go to our main office to open a

checking account. It is especially important for those under 18 to have parental approval

when opening a checking account.
