YOUTH GROUP: This Wednesday, September 16, Youth Group will start at 6:30PM. We will start in the basement Youth Room. This week is a Discipleship Group Night, but staying here on the church property. – Don’t forget to return your Child/Youth Registration form, signed by your parent or guardian.

SAM & FRIENDS: Come for great food and fellowship at the “Eat & Chat” End of Summer Indoor Picnic in the Founders Room on Friday from 12-3PM. Sign up at the main bulletin board.

SAVE THE DATE: There will be a Ladies Missionary Tea with Terri Fisher on Saturday, October 3 from 12 – 2PM. The theme is “Who Have You Told Today?” Invite your friends and sign up at the main BB.

THE HOUSE – SEPTEMBER 19, 7-9PM: Our Young Adults did three “Hot Summer Nights” in a coffeehouse-like environment. They will continue meeting once a month, but with summer ending, it will be known as “The House.” Dan Mason (302) 563-8250 coordinates the program and Mark Hoffman (484) 643-6190 coordinates the logistics. The House has become the center point of our Young Adult ministry.

OCTOBER 11 – FRIEND DAY AND FALL FESTIVAL: Sunday, October 11, will be a great opportunity for guests to check out Faith Baptist Church. We will start the day with a 10AM Friend Day service with guest speaker, Don Lough, Executive Director of Word of Life. Illusionist Jeremy Biesecker will be in Jr. Church and then doing afternoon evangelistic presentations. (No Sunday School). Fall Festival will start after the morning service until 5PM. We will block off the back road and use our parking lot for guests. More details in next week’s bulletin. There will be no regular evening service or Focus Groups on Oct. 11.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: John Thomas' Sunday School Class has begun a study in the Old Testament Book of Zechariah. A faithful group had returned from Babylon in hope of rebuilding their land and reinstituting Godly worship. At first things looked promising but soon the people became discouraged. The questions that haunted them are similar to the questions we ask ourselves today: Why was God silent? Had God forgotten them? Would God keep His Word? All are welcome to join us.

LADIES BIBLE STUDIES: The Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Study is resuming this Tuesday at 9:15AM at the home of Denise Burroughs and is studying "Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story" by Angie Smith. See Sara Hocking for details. The Tuesday Night Ladies Bible study meets at 7PM at the home of Belinda Willard and is studying Hosea: Unfailing Love Changes Everything by Jennifer Rothschild, a 7-week study. Contact Karen Heald at (302) 545-2857 or [email protected] if you would like to participate.
