Keratonics...New Additions

Beijing Olympics 2008 is on everyone’s mind as they watch excitedly as the Australian team fights relentlessly for Gold. It is like we are personally involved in the process, and every medal is a battle won by us all. The Team Spirit runs high at this time, yet we need to remember the time, effort, sleepless nights, early rising, pain, commitment and total focus that was invested for the athletes to simply rise to a level of competition…. Many put in the hard yards and didn’t qualify for the Olympics this time, but they have a commitment to step up, put in another four years, to make it for the next Olympics. That is the way successful people learn to live their life. When focused on a goal, they commit to completion… if not this time, then reset the goal and keep on doing what is required with relentless focus and commitment until the goal is achieved.

We have a very forgiving business model. Nobody makes you do anything. Nobody checks your hours. Nobody assesses whether you have done sufficient work to receive a pay cheque this month… it is totally voluntary, yet your cheque often reflects the amount of CONTINUOUS COMMITMENT involved to achieve the ultimate goal…. Just like the athletes, it is the simple disciplines that count every day.

Here are some simple disciplines that may assist you:Ensure only positive words go into your team, and negatives go to your Diamond or key leader.1. Understand it takes both WIDTH and DEPTH to make a strong business. Commit to working on 2. both areas. That means you need to have a minimum of 20 distributors in width ordering regularly, (continually expanding as you find more people to work with) AND develop depth within each leg – preferably an Executive, under an Executive under an Executive, with a long term goal of a Diamond under a Diamond under a Diamond… now that would make a strong business.Think about how you can cut down on products used from the shop, and what you could use 3. from your own Neways business as an alternative – be creative, and share your ideas with GHS as testimonials and with your team, because others will do what you do!Speak ‘life’ into your business – see the good in people, their best efforts, and appreciate them – 4. even it they aren’t perfect.

As we move into September remember it is a new season – Spring. What happens in Spring? Yes, things begin to sprout new life – take hold of that, because new life means new growth, and your business is about to reflect new growth – fresh, clean, and ready to multiply!

Have an awesome month.

This month on Focus Connect we listen in to Crown Triple Diamond, Christine Gear, as she shares some very powerful and valuable inspiration to help us move forward in life.

With their family

In May 1994, Christine Gear came to our home in Murray Bridge, SA travelling thousands of kilometres, by car, to share the Neways opportunity with us – she was truly committed! Christine showed us the whole Neways story and changed our lives forever.

In those early days GHS were already making a real difference in people’s lives. We are so grateful to Christine and Neale for believing in us, so that we too could make a difference to the lives of others – that’s duplication! We really value their friendship and feel so privileged to be the very first Diamonds in the GHS family team.

The benefit of using Neways products was noticeable from the beginning of our journey and we built our business based on sheer excitement, enthusiasm and a belief that we could do it ... Christine said so! We understood we had an obligation to share the whole Neways story each time, product & the business opportunity, so that people could make an informed choice. We mirrored the GHS philosophy, followed the system & built a very strong business and residual income, by talking and listening to people around their kitchen table. Neways is a brilliant people business!

Personal development played a very important part in our journey. GHS are the training specialists! Christine recommended we attend meetings, read books, listen and watch motivational CD’s/DVD’s, go to convention each year, leadership forums, Born Rich, and network with other like-minded positive successful people.

We have always taken goal setting seriously – here are just two examples.

Whilst working full-time, in his traditional J.O.B. (just over broke), Murray was asked to restore his father’s 1924 Chevrolet for our daughter’s wedding. In addition to the challenge of restoration which involved significant planning, being totally focused, persistent and committed, we knew the goal had to be achieved in eight months to coincide with the date set for the wedding. All goals must have an ‘achievement date’ – and the vehicle was totally restored on the day of the wedding. Since then the old Chev has featured in many other milestone events. Achieving goals is such a rewarding experience it brings much joy into our lives our family and friends.

We decided to renovate our home which took several months. Whilst achieving our renovation goals, our Neways business grew passively on its own ... an unbelievable sustainable business model.

It was a proud moment being presented with the keys to our first Neways car at Convention in 1997 - we had never owned a new car before so we were truly ecstatic.

We are so grateful to God for His enduring love; for our family of four children, their spouses and our nine grandchildren. It is with sincere gratitude we edify and say thank you to our brilliant team for their commitment, love and support.

Thanks to Neways, GHS and our team, we are now self-funded retirees.

Remember, the future belongs to those who PLAN and ACT upon it.

GHS Focus Connect It’s all about making a difference

Don’t make a judgement as to whether your opportunity will be good for them or not. Have them make that decision for themselves. Utilize different resources; business cards you have collected over the years, old diaries, a memory jogger list, the yellow pages (go through all the professions: who do you know that is an architect, a builder, a carpenter, a dentist, an electrician, a fitness instructor?). Ask yourself some powerful questions, ‘Who do I know that is successful? Who do I know that desires more out of life? Who do I know that is a people person? Who do I know that is dissatisfied with their present circumstances? Who do I know that is interested in health and fitness? Who would I like to partner with long term?

Once your list is created you want to rate your list. Allocate certain qualities & attributes to the people on your list, use the PEARLS to assist in this process. P is for Positive; E for Enthusiastic; A is for Ambitious or Achiever; R is for those who love Recognition (this industry is great in recognizing effort & results); L is for Leader; S is for those who have already created Success in their life. Some individuals will have multiple letters beside their name & therefore have multiple attributes. Wouldn’t it be great to start contacting these ones first so that you can start your business with a solid foundation? Imagine that you are the leader of a large organization & you had to select 9 board members, you would want the best possible people first. Working with 9 key people will get them to Executive & you to Diamond…here everyone wins!

Remember to keep adding to your list and remember to ask for referrals then put them on your list. As you can see your list is a work in motion, names come off the list & names are added to the list, as Jerry Clark says don’t frame it and admire it work with it. Remember Leaders make Lists so enjoy creating yours! .… Rene Roth, Diamond Ambassador.

Ok, so following in sequence, you have entered the arena of network marketing with this amazing company Neways International and you have explored and discovered your WHY. I’m sure you got excited so capitalize on this excitement to generate your LIST. It’s now time to apply your mind, put pen to paper or fingers to keyboards. Get out your GHS System Success Manual, you will find a space waiting for you to fill up. Network marketing is a business of relationships. If you are serious about growing a significant business it is in your best interests to generate a significant list. No List - No Capital - No Business.

InfoHormones

Hormones are often referred to as the messengers of the body. They play important roles in countless physical stimuli, including emotion, stress, reproduction, and aging. When hormones are out of balance, symptoms such as accelerated aging, PMS, menopausal difficulties, or prostate issues may surface. Below are basic nutritional guidelines for healthy hormone balance.

Drink enough water. Water is an integral •part of many chemical reactions in the body, particularly those involved with detoxification. Start with 6 cups of water daily, and drink more if you are thirsty. If you exercise or are in hot weather, you will need more water than usual. You should drink enough water to make your urine a light yellow color with a clear consistency. When your body is properly hydrated, it will be more equipped to prevent hormonal imbalances.

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, at •least 4 servings per day. This will give you fiber, which detoxifies extra hormones in your body. This will also give you extra nutrients to help with hormone balance. Whenever possible, eat organic fruits and vegetables, which are free of pesticides and fertilizers that negatively affect the body’s hormonal balance.

Eat cruciferous vegetables often. “Cruciferous” •refers to a family of vegetables including broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, kale, collard greens, cabbage, and turnips. These vegetables contain compounds that detoxify unhealthy forms of hormones and may protect against cancer.

Avoid sugar and caffeine as much as possible. •Sugar and caffeine disrupt hormonal balance by putting stress on your endocrine (hormonal) system. They also cause blood-sugar spikes

and crashes, which may lead to food cravings, irritability, and headaches.

Limit alcohol consumption to no more than •two drinks per day. Alcohol dehydrates the body and puts unnecessary stress on the liver. Both of these factors intensify hormonal symptoms.

Replace commercial meat and dairy with •organic, hormone-free or range-fed meats and dairy products whenever possible. Commercial meat and dairy products contain higher levels of pesticide residues and artificial hormones, both of which confuse the body’s natural hormonal signals.

Regularly eat healthy fats. Healthy fat is •absolutely necessary for the production of most hormones made in the body. Sources of healthy fats include avocado, coconut, flax, raw nuts and seeds, butter, fish, and organic meats and dairy products. Unhealthy fats that contain hydrogenated oils and trans fats (for example, margarine) actually interfere with healthy hormone production by blocking the pathways in your body that produce hormones.

Get plenty of sleep. Sleep is a time of deep •detoxification for the body, especially for the liver. When your liver is able to work effectively, it is more likely that your hormone levels will stay in balance.

DiamondBook ReviewRich Dad’s The ABC’s of Building a Business Team That Wins By Blair Singer

A review by Linda Barker

‘The ABC’s of Building a Business

Team that wins’available from GHS

only $21.95

As a leader looking to ‘show the way’ to other powerful leaders in our team, I am always looking for duplicable, easy to read and informative ways to get a clear message across on various topics of leadership. In The ABC’s of Building a Business Team That Wins Blair Singer clearly depicts the invisible code of honour that is able to take ordinary people and turns them into a championship team. Having a clear Win-Win philosophy is what builds strong global partnerships in any business and is one of the biggest challenges I have seen leaders come up against.

According to Singer, the ability to lead and manage people is a vital business skill and he explains that being surrounded by people who encourage you to do more than you believe you can do is what creates a great team player – and after all great teams are made up of individuals willing to play for the team. In the book’s foreward, Robert Kiyosaki, says that Singer is a valued Rich Dad Advisor because he focuses primarily on teaching sales, team building and leadership skills, and that this book is a must read for anyone who is or plans on being an entrepreneur, who wants to build a winning team. “Getting people to operate as a team and do what you need them to do is the toughest task of any business owner.” he says.

In this book you will learn the strategies that can give your team and yourself the ability to operate as a unified unit, overcome the obstacles that besiege all those on the path to success and help you perform tasks that otherwise seem impossible. Singer highlights how shared decisions hold a team together under pressure, keeping each member accountable to specific behaviours, performance and most importantly, each other. “Great teams ultimately achieve in the face of huge challenges.” says Singer. The ABCs of Building a Business Team That Wins teaches you how to build a powerful team that cooperates and gets stronger even though the challenges may get tougher.

I found that the strategies outlined give a clear directive that is easy to implement. Singer says that one of the reasons many businesses fail to grow or simply fail is that the entrepreneur lacks the ability to build a team that will do the impossible to make their business a success. They do not know how to put a strong team together so that everybody benefits and that these people often quit the business out of exhaustion. As developing leadership skills is a necessary part of achieving in Neways, this book is another great tool in your library for developing yourself and for network marketing success. I believe that those who use this technology have an extreme advantage in today’s market place and encourage you to study this book so you too can have a business team that wins.

… Linda Barker, Senior Double Diamond Ambassador.

ROIL

We are in our late sixty’s & have been using Neways since 2002 and have kept getting surprises at the results, from the improved changes in our health through the nutritional products.

I then decided to try ROIL in my 1977 Holden one tonner, so I put metal conditioner in the engine oil and headed off to work. As I was driving along I started to wonder what’s happening because there wasn’t as much noise coming out from under the bonnet and the ute was flying up the slopes much easier, then the penny dropped, “ROIL!”. But the biggest surprise was at the end of the week, I had been having to fill up every five days and I found out that I still had enough fuel for another days work - that’s 20% better fuel economy! So I will say to everyone try the Roil products in your oils and fuel, particularly with the price where it is now, and see if you get a surprise like I did.

An old dog learning new tricks. The ute’s still going better than ever & so are we. Thanks Neways.

Hydracial Skin Care

Being in the Beauty Industry for more than 25 years, I have been exposed to so many products, especially the anti - ageing ones. Always enthusiastic about what they say they will do, but I was always let down in the end. I have worked with dermo-brasion and Micro therapy non surgical facelift treatments which have to be done in a salon. I have been blown away with the New Hydracial System, it truely has delivered the results it promises. My clients have now been able to maintain these expensive treatment at home with hydracial, and their visits are going that little longer, I don’t mind as I am able to fit in more Neways Business.
