Sensory Rooms either brand new or refurbished.

We don't believe in selling you complex systems that take training courses to

understand. We believe in simple, yet highly rewarding and usable Sensory Rooms.

Total Sensory take pride on giving excellent customer service, from start to finish.

We aim to answer all initial enquiries within 48 hours and we listen to your ideas

and aspirations for a new or refurbished Sensory Room, ensuring that the

equipment provided is suitable for the needs of your service users.

We will then put together a free no obligation

quotation handbook, personalized to your needs.

This will include a computer generated, fun and

colourful drawing of your room showing the

proposed layout to give you a better idea of how

your Sensory Room could look.

Overall costs are provided with the total cost for

supply only, or supply, installation and training. Our

experienced and skilled installation team are NICEIC

Approved Contractors thus providing peace of mind

that if any electrical works are needed, they will be

carried out to the highest standard. All staff are

regularly CRB checked and hold current safety

qualifications to ensure the protection of your

service users, staff and members of the public.

Occasionally things can go wrong and we are

One of the most popular items, the Sparkle

Sensory Harness is often a staple in a sensory

room, draped over our Giant Bean Bags or

equally ideal to play with at home. Produced with

the brightest polymer fibre and heat sealed at the

ends in our factory making it safe to handle and

play with as it does not conduct heat or electricity.

We ensure the fibre we use has a best possible

sparkling effect, as we put three internal strands

of fibre into each strand. There are no sudden

colour changes, instead the fibres slowly merge

through the various colours. Powered by a 50W

Quiet Halogen Lightsource.

UltraViolet (UV) Sparkle Fibre Harnesses offer

stunning effects when combined with a UV

blacklight. Total Sensory provide harnesses with

mixed colours including red, green, yellow, orange,

blue, pink and purple - a rainbow of glowing colours

that sparkle and glow furiously under UV exposure.

For the liveliest results we recommend coupling the

fibre with both a 50W twinkle lightsource and UV

light. However, fibre can be purchased alone to be

used under UV, or with your own lightsource (must

have a 30mm common end). Produced in the UK by

us to a factory finished standard- the ends are heat

sealed and the PVC sheathing is phthalates free.

Please note that our product includes

3 strands of glowing fibre in each sheathing,

creating an impressive effect. Be aware that

harnesses with only 1 strand of glowing fibre

per metre will not provide as bright an effect- so

check how many strands of fibre are included

before purchasing elsewhere!

We have a range of Passive and Interactive Bubble Tubes,

powered by long lasting colour change LED’s. The Passive

Range continually fades through a series of calming colours

whereas the Interactive Bubble Tube allows the user some

control via a wireless switch box.

Using the illuminated switches you can select Yellow, Blue,

Green & Red and the Bubble Tube changes to the

corresponding colour. The Switch Box is rechargeable, so

there is no need to replace batteries. If no button is pressed

for a pre-set period the tube returns to colour change mode.

Cushioned Plinths provide a comfortable padded seat on

which to sit close to the tube and also hides the bubble tube

This unique product is designed and manufactured by Total Sensory, the ‘Fiesta Tube’

fulfills the demand for a water-less version of the traditional Bubble Tube. With

minimal maintenance the Fiesta Tube is ideal in situations where ongoing

maintenance is an issue (i.e hospitals, care homes.)

1.5 metres in height with approx 2,000 sparkling points of light, the tube can be

viewed from all angles, its slow colour change creating a relaxing environment for

sensory rooms and care homes. Proving particularly popular is our Mobile Unit which

aids manoeuvre ability between wards & rooms as it glides on its 4 lockable casters.

Perfect for visual and auditory stimulation, due to

the bright, calm colours and enhanced ‘bubbling’

sound. They require much less water then the

conventional cylinder bubble tubes and they create

bubbles with interesting shapes and detail due to

Our Portable Sensory Boxes are designed for durable usage as they

can be carried from room to room or loaned out in a ‘Sensory Library.’

They are also particularly useful for sensory rooms where you need flexibility to adapt the room for multiple uses or for

particular needs. All boxes measure 60 x 60cm and come with a carry handle, protective corners and integral light source.

The effects create a night sky on your floor! High quality polymer fibres

are sealed into the carpet and become invisible to the naked eye until the

lightsource is activated to reveal hundreds of sparkling points of light.

The fibre optic carpet is safe to walk on and to touch the fibres; they

contain no heat or electricity. They won't break under impact as we use

polymer, not glass fibres. The carpet can be vacuumed as normal.

F ibre Optic CarpetIdeal as an alternative to floor padding as we can produce the carpet to

fit any sized room. We normally embed about 1 or 2 metres square of the

carpet with fibres, normally in the centre, although we can place these

wherever you have preference.

We believe in giving you the best product, and as we produce these rugs & carpets in our own

Star Cloths are black heavy duty fabric

embedded with random glowing f ibre points.

The fibres can be either colour change, static or white twinkle effect. They are

often used as an alternative to blackout blinds or to partition off a room.

Fibre Optic Star Cloths have many advantages over LED versions; they give you

the choice of lightsource so you can increase brightness if need be, you have

more effect options and you can simply replace the wheel in the lightsource to

swap colour change for twinkle, for example. There is no electrical current running

on the curtain, creating a safety advantage. LED's also run the risk of failing,

resulting in dead-spots whereas fibre optics don't fail.

Our standard Star Cloth uses 1.5mm fibres, approx 13 points of light per metre.

Custom quotations are available, creating more sparse or dense fibre optic cloths.

The fibres are long lasting and unlike LED'sthe individual fibres will not fail. The onlymaintenance needed will be a change oflamp in the lightsource, depending on usage,approx every 2-3 years. Some simpleinstallation required; access from above isrequired, if for example, you purchase 250strands of fibre, the same amount of 1mmdiameter holes will need to be drilled into theceiling using the 1mm drill bits supplied. The fibres are then pushed through fromabove and sealed with a dab of silicone.

The high quality fibres are powered by a 50Whalogen lightsource. Manufactured in the UK- custom starry ceiling kits to fit a particulararea can be quoted for upon request as caninstallation by our experienced team.

The combination of water and sound has unique properties -water is an element that transports sound with an intensityof 25x's that of air. The sound waterbed combines pressure-reducing, harmonious and adaptive response and gentlemovements on the warm water mattress with the soundproperties of water as a medium.

The sound waterbed is ideal for special therapeutic applications by utilizing music, spoken word,sounds or natural sounds to aid relaxation. The waterbed can also be put to use in care homes to easethe pressures of daily life and help others to recharge their batteries.

The water core is made of phthalate free vinyl and certified in line with Oko-Tex Standard 100. Totransmit the sound, high end sound converters are attached to the sound base plate by a specialelastic, rubber mounting. The sound converters can be activated via the active amplifier supplied withthe system to transmit the base and mid-range of the sound material independently. The intensity andfrequency range can be adjusted individually- depending on your requirements and the type of sound.

After connecting your CD/DVD player, or some other audio source, the sound waterbed willautomatically activate. With just two controls, you can adjust the bed's sound reproduction as needed.When you switch off your audio source, the sound waterbed will also disable after a couple of minutes.

New shock absorbing wall and f loor padding produced with integral

skin urethane, making this system unique as pads can be cut to size

on site to f it your room, thus catering to awkward areas.

Installation couldn’t be easier- simply apply

our special adhesive to the back of the pads

and secure in place. For pads that need to be

cut- simply measure and use a sharp knife to
