Introduction
The Victorian Seniors Festival celebrates the inspiring contribution of older Victorians. This year, the festival celebrates its 35th year and will run from 8 October to 15 October 2017.
Wyndham City will be hosting a series of events which are open to all seniors throughout October 2017.
In addition, Wyndham City is supporting a variety of community events across the municipality which will be open for Wyndham residents.
Included in this year’s line-up are Festivals, Lunches, Morning & Afternoon Teas, Concerts, Come and Try activities and a whole lot more. There is sure to be something for everyone!
So come along and join in the spirit of the Seniors Festival and help us celebrate what’s on offer.

Tickets
Free metropolitan and regional public transport will be available for all Victorian Seniors Card holders 8 – 15 October 2017.
Metropolitan: Travel for free on trains, trams and buses on Melbourne’s public transport network.
Regional: Travel for free on unreserved V/Line services - Melton, Ballarat/Wendouree/Ararat, Bendigo/Eaglehawk/Echuca, Geelong/Marshall, Traralgon and Seymour services. Travel for free on reserved services - Albury/Wodonga, Bairnsdale, Shepparton, Swan Hill and Warrnambool services.

In the spirit of sustainability, but also of fairness, objects that have been waiting to be used or have been refused in the ongoing evolution of a house that arrived in Avoca from Europe in 1852 as numbered planks, now have their turn.
Portraits of people connected to the house will also be incorporated, along with plant life to be re-arranged in several live performances by women from the town.
