Republic Day

Shishyans celebrate 71st Republic Day

Shishyans of Classes VI – XII came together to celebrate India’s 71st Republic Day.

The entire campus had a patriotic fervour as speeches, poems, songs, dances, etc. rent the air. The guest of the day Mrs. Sunita Sisodia, unfurled the National Flag

along with the Principal Mrs. Lalita Singh. The Students Council administered the oath thereafter. The speech delivered by Dravya Shah and the poem recited by Animesh Shukla ignited the national pride in each Shishyan. The song and the dance

added a musical flavour to the morning. The special rendition of the song ‘Teri Mitti’

by the students of Class XI won a thunderous applause.

Graduation Ceremony

The 11th Graduation Day was held on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Additional

Director General of Police Mr. Manish Shankar Sharma was the Chief Guest and

Ms. Priya Nalgundwar, Chief Pilot of Government of India and Mr. Babar Ali, a

passionate educationist were the Guests of Honour.

Vanshika Jha attended the grand finale

of TCS Intelligem at TCS Olympus,

Thane. She was selected among 46

finalists from the country and appeared

in the Global Citizenship Category.

Rudra Khandelwal, Atharva Airen and

Neel Jadia were among the top 25 All

India Rank holders in the Hanoi Open

Mathematics Competition. They have

been shortlisted for an interview.

Vedikaa Jain of Class VI participated in a

painting competition organised by The

Free Press at their premises. She secured

the 3rd position.

Asmi Chelawat (Vice Head Girl), Class XII

B, was recognized as SAT India Top

Performer 2020. She scored 1530/1600.


Achievements

Shishans won Overall Best Project Award in Senior Bal Vigyan Hub Activity

Community Development Project (Social Science and Mathematics). The topic

was SMART CITY and the theme ‘Heritage Conservation’. The project aimed at

preserving and protecting the rich architecture of Indore.

Inter House Character Portrayal Competition

In the Inter House English Character Portrayal Competition Shishyans of Classes VI –

VIII had to emulate any famous youth icon or literary character. The students dressed

and spoke like the selected character, so we had Anne Frank, Dr. Kalam, Swami

Vivekanand, Lady Macbeth, Greta Thunberg, Anand Kumar, Prince Hamlet and

Priyanka Chopra on stage!

The students spoke with great confidence and held the audience spell bound .
