Graduation Gala Attire Requirements
Students not adhering to these guidelines
for dress will be barred from participating
in commencement exercises.
●Upon receiving your gown, place it on a
hanger and allow it to hang. Wrinkles
should straighten out and eliminate the
need for pressing.
●If necessary. Press with a lukewarm iron. A
hot iron will damage the fabric.
●Tape, signs, flowers, leis & other decora-
tions are not permitted on cap and/or
gown, or neck.
●Men: long pants, shoes and socks under
their gown. Slacks, chinos and dress shirts
are appropriate. No jeans!
●Women: dresses, skirts or dress pants and
blouses.
●Shorts, jeans, flip flops and tennis shoes
will not be permitted.

Congratulations, Class of 2018!
The following information regarding
graduation activities and responsibili-
ties has been prepared for your con-
venience. The final days of high school
will be busy for you and will also pro-
vide you the opportunity to participate
in many exciting activities. The gradu-
ation committee has been very busy
planning for your graduation. Our
wish for your final appearance as a
MTHS student is that the occasion will
be one you, your parents and friends
may be proud of. Your cooperation in
making this year's graduation ceremo-
ny a successful endeavor is appreciat-
ed.

Requirements for
Participating in
Commencement Exercises
In order to walk in graduation, you
must meet the following requirements
by 10am Friday, June 15th:
● Satisfactorily complete the credit
requirements as set by MTHS and
Edmonds School District
● Pay all fees/fines, return all supplies/
equipment/books, and clear any
other obligations
● Have your Graduation Verification
Form signed off and returned to
your counselor by 10am, June 15th
(Upon submitting this form, your
counselor will give you a personal-
ized envelope to show ASB that you
are cleared and ready to receive
your tickets.)
● Sign up for seating in the ASB office
before 10am in Friday, June 15th.
● Participate in commencement re-
hearsal in the MTHS gym on Friday,
June 15th from 3:15 to 5pm. You
must participate in this rehearsal to
attend graduation!
All questions regarding your child’s
status for walking at commencement
exercises need to be directed to the
counseling office. Call 425-431-5663
and ask to speak with your student’s
counselor.

(by ticket only /stadium seating)
Counterfeit ticket users will be turned over to the
Edmonds Police
Edmonds Stadium: 7600 212th St SW,
Edmonds, WA 98026
Park at Edmonds-Woodway High.
Parking is limited—please carpool.
Each student will receive 5 tickets.
Three extra tickets may be purchased
for $5 each (cash only) when graduates
have been cleared between June 12th -
June 15th.
The graduation ceremony will be
recorded by Club HBN. You may pre-
order a dvd for $20 @ the Stadium be-
fore graduation.
