DAY 2 Sunday 24 March 2019 Queen VictoriaToday we have a comprehensive sightseeing tour of the modern city of Singapore. We will visit historic China Town and the beautiful Orchid Garden. This afternoon we board the Queen Victoria to begin our fabulous cruise.

DAY 3 Monday 25 March 2019 Malacca, MalaysiaThe historical city of Malacca is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest Malaysian city in the Straits of Malacca. Today on our sightseeing tour we will see the influences of the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British, who all colonised Malacca. Our tour will include a visit to the Melaka Sultanate Palace, a photo opportunity at the Porta de Santiago, visiting the Masjid Tranquerah and also the ruins of St. Paul’s Church.

There are some nights at sea classified as formal for dress purposes. Nights in port are classified as informal. DAY 14 Friday 5 April 2019 Port Louis, MauritiusToday we arrive at the beautiful island of Mauritius. We have a sightseeing tour of the island and the capital, Port Louis, which still retains aspects of its pirate past. We’ll visit the Pamplemousses Gardens with its spectacular display of giant water lilies, and take in the beautiful scenery of the island and its stunning beaches.

DAY 15 Saturday 6 April 2019 Saint-Denis, ReunionToday we call in to the island of Reunion, a French colony since 1813. We will have a sightseeing tour of this rugged, mountainous island. We see the capital, Saint Denis, and travel inland to the mountains where we will see some spectacular waterfalls.

Today we travel north to the Addo Elephant Park, one of the larger national parks in South Africa. We will look out for Elephant, Lion, Rhino and many other wildlife on our safari through the park before returning to the ship.

DAY 20 Thursday 11 April 2019 At seaA free day to enjoy the facilities of the ship and our last night on-board. Before dinner we will farewell the group formally, at The Senior Farewell drinks party.

DAY 21 Friday 12 April 2019 Cape Town, South AfricaWe arrive in Cape Town – one of the great cities of the world. We disembark Queen Victoria and join our local guide who will take us on a sightseeing tour to see many fabulous sights, such as the imposing brick and stucco Houses of Parliament, the Victoria and Alfred dock area, and the Bo-Kaap area, where the Cape Malays live in brightly coloured cube houses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. We take the cable-car up Table Mountain for wonderful views of Table Bay, the city and the sea. Later we are transferred to our hotel.

DAY 22 Saturday 13 April 2019 Cape TownToday we will enjoy a full day tour to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, the most south-westerly tip of Africa. These promontories were key beacons for the early explorers and are the source of many myths and legend. At the Cape we will visit the famous lighthouse first erected in 1860. On route we will visit Simons Town, a pretty coastal town which is South Africa’s main naval base and consists of lovely Victorian buildings, quaint streets and walkways and a fascinating history.

DAY 23 Sunday 14 April 2019 DepartureThis morning we depart the hotel and are transferred to the airport for our flight home.

DAY 24 Monday 15 April 2019 Arrival AustraliaThis evening we arrive in Australia and the tour concludes.

DAY 1 Sunday 14 April, 2019 Victoria Falls, ZimbabweTour members continuing on to enjoy our safari extension will depart Cape Town and fly to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival we will be transferred to our hotel.

DAY 2 Monday 15 April, 2019 Victoria FallsVictoria Falls are among the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. The Zambezi River, which is more than 2 kilometres wide at this point, plunges noisily down a series of basalt gorges and raises an iridescent mist that can be seen more than 20 kilometres away. Today we tour the great falls. A great day to experience one of the major natural wonders of the world.

DAY 3 Tuesday 16 April, 2019 Victoria FallsA free day to continue enjoying Victoria Falls. There are many optional activities including helicopter tours over the falls and Zambezi River cruises.

DAY 4 Wednesday 17 April, 2019 Chobe National Park, BotswanaToday we travel across the border to Botswana, to our wonderful Lodge in the Chobe National Park. The park extends over 11,700 sq kms, encompassing floodplains, swamps, woodland and the Chobe River. The park boats over 450 species of birds plus Giraffe, Lions, Cape Buffalo, Hippos, Crocodile, Leopard, Impala, Elephants and Zebra, all of which are frequently viewed on Safari. After being settled into our hotel, we will have a Sunset River Cruise of the Chobe River, a perfect opportunity to see Hippos, Crocodiles and Elephants crossing the river.

DAY 5 Thursday 18 April, 2019 Chobe National ParkOur second day on safari in the Chobe National Park is sure to be another day of great wildlife sightseeing and memorable experiences. We will enjoy a 4 x 4 safari and hopefully see the ‘Big 5’ – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo.

DAY 6 Friday 19 April, 2019 DepartureToday we are transferred to the airport for our flight back to Australia.

TOUR OPERATOR: Travelrite International Pty Ltd (ABN 64 005 817 078) is the tour organiser. Queen Victoria is operated by CUNARD Cruises and cruise arrangements are subject to the terms and conditions and general information detailed in the CUNARD Cruises brochure for Queen Victoria. All passengers must complete a Cunard Line on-line check-in and Travelrite International booking form.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT: A deposit of $1,000 per passenger should be sent with a completed Travelrite International booking form that lists your requested cabin category. As soon as the booking is confirmed, (usually within 24 hours), a cruise confirmation advice will be posted to the client. The confirmation advice will contain all details. Final payments are due to be paid to Travelrite International 90 days prior to the commencement of the Queen Victoria cruise. A 1.5% administration fee will be added to payments by Visa or Mastercard and 3% for payment by AMEX or Diners Club cards.

REFUNDS: The cruise is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All passengers will require a valid passport. If not an Australian passport holder check with Travelrite International regarding visa requirements.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Adequate travel insurance is highly recommended to cover cruise members for the consequences of unforeseen events during the cruise and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc.

BAGGAGE: Passengers qualify for a 20kg free baggage allowance on flights to join or return from the cruise. Baggage is at owners’ risk throughout the cruise.

MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS: The cruise arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking 90 days from the date of departure, Travelrite International reserves the right to cancel the tour, giving a full refund of monies paid, or offer arrangements to proceed with the tour at a modified fare.
