development process requires governments to prioritize the

action below:

– Disaster loss data and disaster risk profile, with

– Comprehensive analysis of the current status of disaster risk

reduction to determine policies and action

– Strong coordination mechanism for promoting and facilitating

risk-informed and risk resilient development practices

– Systematic application of science and technology for risk

resilient development policy and practices

– Strong governance, with clear roles and responsibilities, with

the support of accountability measures and monitoring

systems in all development sectors
