Malaria is one of the major diseases in our country. Malaria is an infectious diseases of the blood caused by
parasites which infect the Red Blood Cell and are spread by mosquitoes'.
The term malaria comes from ‘mal’ ‘aria’ or ‘bad air’. The malaria caused by a parasite called as
‘plasmodium’.
Each year every more than 1,000,000 People die for malaria in Africa

Fitting windows and doors with wire net. Sleeping inside the mosquito nets. Spraying residential areas with insecticides. Covering the water ponds and other reservoir with
kerosene. Take vaccine against malaria. Long sleeve clothes.
Diseases are controlled through administration of drugs like Chloroquine and Premaquine.

According to WHO, around 1.32 billion people are at the risk of contracting malaria in Southeast Asia. It marks April 25 as the World Malaria Day.The disease is a major health problem in much of the tropics and subtropics.
