SEMINAR ON IFRS 16 -LEASES

IFRS 16 - Leases has been notified by Securities and Exchange Commission ofPakistan vide SRO 434 (I) / 2018 dated April 9, 2018. Through this SRO, IFRS 16- Leases is effective on Annual Reporting periods beginning on or after January1, 2019. This has brought some fundamental changes to the accounting ofleases, particularly in the perspective of Lessees and under the scenarios ofSale and Lease Back transactions. Considering the importance of Topic, We atCPD Committee Lahore feel that discussion and understanding the changesbrought by IFRS 16 - Leases and evaluate the impact on various segments ofbusinesses is important need of our membership.Mr. Yasir Riaz will be delivering a comprehensive presentation on IFRS 16-Leases.
