I feel great pleasure in handing the issue of our CollegeNewsletter named Concord. Over the years the collegehas achieved continuing success in serving the cause offemale education in this area. The college presents ahappy blend of traditional and modern educationwhere knowledge is imparted to the students so that

they may occupy a better place in the modern competitive world and develop allround personalities retaining the beauty of mind and intellect as well as of soul. Ithas made its mark in academic, sports and cultural fields. I can feel proud of itsAlumni who are holding responsible position in social, political and economic life ofthe nation. All this has been possible with the dedicated and strenuous efforts of theable managing committee and hard work and experienced faculty and also withthe whole-hearted co-operation of the people of the area to whom I am highlygrateful. I assure that college will play a meaningful role in the competitive timesahead and scale new heights, translating the dreams of the people of the area intoreality and bring education in this rural area. I pray for future growth andprosperity of the college and wish the management, staff and students all successin the years to come.

The 14 Graduation Day was celebrated on 19 May 2018, in a grand manner.Prof. Dr.P.Manisankar, Vice Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, Trichy, was thechief guest of the day. Our alumni meeting also was conducted on the same dayand the new office-bearers were selected and taken charges. During the meeting,many old students shared their reminiscences and promised to co-ordinate withtheir juniors and the alma mater.
