ABOUT UCA

UCA is a comprehensive research and private university which ranks #1 in Latin America (World University Rankings QS). UCA aims to educate global professionals with deep values and strong social commitment. UCA offers its students an academic experience in a privileged setting, in which academic values resonate with the dynamic life of a cultural capital in Buenos Aires and four other locations (Rosario, Paraná, Mendoza and Pergamino).

The main areas of research at UCA are human development and poverty, biomedicine, food technology and climate change. UCA has the most modern urban campus in Argentina. There are five computer labs with full Internet access for the students, four university cafeterias, and a beautiful esplanade along the River Plate. Upon arrival, students are greeted with a 3-day Orientation and welcomed by the university.

• Have completed at least 2 academic years (4 semesters)

• Be in good academic standing

• Candidates require B2.4 - Spanish language level; The Spanish placement exam is mandatory for all exchanges and is offered at NO COST.

• All UCA courses are available to exchange students

COSTS

Tuition and fees are paid to Virginia Tech as typical and not to UCA. See the VT Bursar's website for tuition and fee rates: www.bursar.vt.edu.

Estimated costs per month at UCA are approximately $1,000 (includes expenses like homestays, food, local transportation, study materials, and personal expenses).
