La recherche et la crativit dAtelier Sedap ont permis de faire voluer les utilisations du pltre et de multiplier ses applications dans lclairage.Le choix du matriau pltre sinscrit, aujourdhui plus que jamais, dans une dmarche volontaire de production respectueuse de lenvironnement.En effet, le pltre se distingue depuis des millnaires pour ses proprits de rgulation hygromtrique, de protection contre les incendies, et de performances disolation acoustique. Il est reconnu aujourdhui pour son innocuit pour lenvironnement et la sant.

Pour la sant parce que le pltre est confectionn partir de gypse (roche minrale) et deau, il ne requiert pas lutilisation de colles, de solvants ou autres produits nocifs pour lhomme.

Pour lenvironnement parce quune politique environnementale trs srieuse rgit lavant, le pendant et laprs de lexploitation. Le pltre utilis par Atelier Sedap provient dune exploitation franaise respectueuse de toutes les normes environnementales. Dautre part, la cuisson du pltre se fait basse temprature, ce qui rduit au maximum le dgagement de CO2. Enfin, les dchets de fabrication et du chantier sont recycls.

Creativeness and R&D at Atelier Sedap open new possibilities for the use of plaster, and especially new solutions for recessed lighting.

The choice of plaster as a material is today, more than ever, a conscious will to develop environmentally-friendly production. For centuries, the properties of plaster have been highlighted : hygrometric regulation, fire resistance, soundproofing. It is now widely recognized as a harmless material according to health regulations and also environmentally-friendly.

Innocuous for health. Plaster is made from mineral gypsum and water. It does not need glues, solvent or any product noxious to man.

Environmentally-friendly. A comprehensive environmental policy rules the plaster industry. Atelier Sedap uses plaster from French quarries which are following environment regulations to the letter.

All these new innovative lighting solutions make the most of new technologies for energy saving-fluorescent T5 and LEDs.

The complete lighting range is manufactured by Atelier Sedap in France to createa unique lighting offer.

*A travers ses crations innovantes depuis plus de 20 ans, Atelier Sedap a rvl des qualits inconnues au pltre. La puret des lignes, la nettet des artes, la grande rigueur des design ont permis de crer une identit originale la fois dcorative et architecturale.Aujourdhui, lenvironnement est au coeur des proccupations et nous permet de dvoiler les qualits caches dun matriau ternel.

- Le pltre est 100% minral issu de carrires gres dans le respect des rserves de la plante avec des perspectives dexploitation plusieurs centaines dannes.- Le pltre ncessite pour son laboration, partir du gypse, des cuissons faible temprature (de 150C 350C) et de ce fait une faible gnration de CO2.- Le pltre est un matriau naturellement incombustible (M0) et au-del de ses capacits coupe-feu utilises dans la construction, ne dgage pas de fumes nocives.

Atelier Sedap, grce son exprience et ses avances dans le domaine du moulage, offre des solutions rellement conomiques associes un design irrprochable.
