The revolutionary design of ASP Tactical Handcuffs allowsLock Sets to be interchanged to meet the securityrequirement of a specific agency. Lock Sets are available inone, two and three pawl designs. All ASP Locks incorporateplastic shields which make it impossible to shim the cuff fromthe side of the bow.

One pawl Lock Sets form the foundation of the ASP RestraintSystem. Color coded Yellow, the single pawl design forms thestrongest and most dependable Lock Set. However, thesingle pawl can be shimmed from the entrance of the frame.It can also be manipulated by a subject who is given accessto tools. The Lock Set uses a standard handcuff key.

The two pawl High Security ASP Restraint is both shim andpick resistant. It is color coded Blue. A stainless steel plateseparates two precisely machined independent pawls.Shimming from the side is impossible. The security plateblocks entrance of a shim into the mouth of the frame. Asingle tool can retract only one pawl. As a result, the twopawl ASP restraint is easily replaceable yet provides the mostsecure Lock Set in the industry. The unique key used in thetwo pawl lock will open all standard handcuffs as well as thetwo pawl restraint. However, standard keys cannot open atwo pawl lock.

The three pawl European Lock Set is impossible to shim fromthe side. A shim inserted from the frame entrance mustprecisely match the width of all three pawls. The Lock Setuses a standard handcuff key and is color coded Green.
