The DISS mission is to reform the

Security and Suitability processes by

designing and implementing a

secure, end-to-end IT system to

electronically collect, review, and

share data Government-wide on a

workforce of more than 450,000

employees in more than 5,000

locations. Our involvement reduced

the average adjudication cycle time

from 129 days to 42 days. These

technology e�ciencies saved the

DoD approximately 590,000 hours in

annual employee processing and

adjudication time, equating to a cost

avoidance of nearly $35 million.
