3MTM Maintenance SorbentsFor leaks and drips of non aggressive fluids. 3MTM Maintenance

Sorbents are ideal for absorbing oil and other industrial fluids cleanly

and efficiently. They are lightweight and very quick to deploy. They

are long lasting and highly absorbent (up to 25x their own weight),

absorbing most fluids very quickly. 3MTM Maintenance sorbents are not

suitable for absorbing aggressive liquids.

Made from inert, synthetic fibres principally of polypropylene and

polyester, they are available in a large range of formats and are

lightweight and dust free. They have a high absorption capacity which

minimizes the amount of waste for disposal.

3M™ petroleum Sorbents3MTM Petroleum Sorbents are an innovative range of highly absorbent

products. Being hydrophobic they repell water and are ideal for absorbing

oil from places where water may also be present.

As with 3M™ Maintenance Sorbents, Petroleum Sorbents are available

in a wide range of convenient formats – each designed to enhance spill

management and maximise pollution control.

Petroleum Sorbents are made from inert, synthetic fibres, principally

polypropylene for ‘T’ oil sorbents and polypropylene and polyester for ‘HP’.

They are available in a wide range of formats and are lightweight and dust

free. They have a high absorption capacity which minimizes the amount

of waste for disposal. HP antistatic products have a charge dissipating

polypropylene scrim and are packaged in charge-dissipating film.

5 Gallon Kits – Utilizing the 3M™ Folded Sorbent Technology,

which allows the material to be used as a pillow, pad, roll or

boom, it is the most versatile spill kit on the market. Because of

its unique construction and compressibility it can be stored in

locations such as behind or under seats or lab benches where

other spill kits will not fit.

Each kit contains 1-chemroll (5 inches by 26 feet) and one

temporary disposal bag (3 in a case).

31 Gallon Kits – These spill kits combine the best of both

worlds- folded sorbents (which can be used as booms, pillows

or roll) and high capacity sorbent pads. This unique combination

allows you to easily select the product to fit the response.

Each package comes packed in an element-resistant 20 gallon

drum with 2 rolls of folded sorbent, 30 pads, 3 disposal bags

and ties. To make transporting the drum easier, handles are

molded all the way around the side of the container.

Also Available:

Marine Oil & Fuel Bilge Pillow Pad – The 3MTM Oil & Fuel Bilge Pillow Pad will contain up to

2 litres of oil and fuel from bilge, or dip trays. Floats on water and will not disintegrate.

Dispose of in accordance wtih local regulations when saturated.
