This skin renewal product hydrates while exfoliating with a poly-AHA combination of glycolic and lactic acids plus salicylic acid. Marine algae extracts remineralize and tone the skin. This pleasant, non-sticky gel can be used on its own for removing dead cells and imparting a smoother, softer surface to any skin type. Tetrahexyl Decyl Ascorbate: is a stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, used in cosmetics, personal care products and anti-aging products because of its ability to increase collagen levels, reduce melanin production, brighten skin, and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage. It is also considered to be more potent than L-ascorbic acid and other Vitamin C compounds, and has a higher rate of penetration (because it is lipid soluble, like human skin) than other derivatives; it also has a higher rate of conversion to vitamin C within the dermis.

Jojoba Oil: a wax ester derived from a desert shrub type plant. It is similar in chemical structure to components of human sebum. It penetrates rapidly, while leaving an emolliency on skin.

Green Tea Extract: a very potent antioxidant that helps to support skin structures and repair skin cells

Squalane: a naturally occuring lipid in both plants and animals, this source being from olives. Non-oily, non-comedogenic ingredient that acts as a barrier protecting skin from moisture loss with anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties.

Ubiquinone: another name for CoQ10, a potent antioxidant naturally produced by the body. Thought to penetrate skin easily and reduce free radical damage. Found to assist cells in building collagen and elastin, therefore reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This serum contains pigment lightening agents to block the overproduction of pigment where it is formed in the basal layer of the skin. Kojic acid dipalmitate, azelaic acid and alpha-arbutin are a powerful combination of clinically tested ingredients that inhibit tyrosinase activity. Antioxidant vitamins C and E give added protection from environmental damage while salicylic and lactic acids provide an effective delivery system. The pigment blocking agents remain in the cells for a period of time but do not actually bleach them. Exfoliation is necessary to remove old surface pigmentation.

Apply peel prep solution to a closed-weave gauze pad and apply to the skin in a buffing motion, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for two to three (2-3) minutes. Remove with a dry, open-weave gauze pad in a vigorous buffing motion until skin is no longer tacky to the touch. Also may be applied under steam prior to extractions. Reapply as necessary during extraction procedure.
