Rediscover nature

The Kufstein Kaiserlift takes nature lovers to the plateau of the Steinberg alpine pastures. The new single-seat chair lift is not only the first step to get up on the mountains ea-sily, but also a means of transport which lets you slow down and enjoy some solitude on the ride.Once you reach 1.256 m above sea level, you are awaited by untouched nature, wonderful hiking paths, stunning views and traditional huts. Surrounded by the powerful scenery of the Kaisergebirge mountain range amidst the nature reserve, six energy and awareness spots let you un-derstand the importance of nature and the animal world.

In 2016, as part of the initia-tive "9 places – 9 treasures", the adjoining Kaisertal valley was designated as Austria's most beautiful place.

Himmelschauen"Sky View" - At Gamskogel there is a magical spot to watch the sky and the clouds. The spiral-shaped larch wood bench allows you to lie facing any di-rection you want, or sit on the inside, de-pending on the sun and your mood.

Gratwanderung"Ridge Walk" - The Hocheck ridge is located between the areas Steinberg and Walleralm. The wind-protected spiral invites hikers to take a cosy rest. A viscope provides great views and it takes the mountain peaks closer to the hikers.

Almapotheke"Mountain Pharmacy" - Discover the highest mountain pharmacy in Austria at Berghaus Aschenbrenner. Four units allow an interactive experience of old pharmacy handcraft and herbal knowledge. Local herbs and their healing effects are presented in words, pictures and odor samples.

Lebensquelle"Source of Life" - You can find this ener-gy spot hiking along the forestry road between the middle and top station. At the "Riegen"-fountain you can draw energy from the power of water.
