ABOVE GRADE SPLICE KITS

Type AGS Above Grade Splice Kit consists ofa standard AMS splice/reducer and a heavywall heat-shrink sleeve. The AMS Splice isdual rated for use with aluminum and copperconductors and are constructed from highstrength, tin plated aluminum that provideslow contact resistance and reduces theeffects of galvanic corrosion. Connector isinstalled with common installation tools. Theheavy wall heat shrink sleeve is lined withadhesive material, providing a positive sealagainst moisture egress. Heat shrink sleeveis installed with standard propane torch, orelectric heat gun.

Type UGS UF Splice Kit consists of a UFsplice connector and a heavy wall heat-shrinksleeve.
