To provide support to conduct experiments for CENT members, as well as, rest of other scientists,

master and PhD scholars at the University and national level. As well as scientists must be meticulous

in their duties of collecting, analyzing and compiling data, preparing reports and maintaining records.

This also involves the most importantly the discussion of the results, i.e. structures and morphologies

of the synthesized nano-micro materials and their solution and the understanding of the (FESEM and

XRD) structures. In short; as a scientist, I have an experience (more than 15 years) on various

techniques and equipment, which could be valuable to take care and provide useful guidance to the

engineers and helping to conduct experiments.

The work ensures its relevance to the Center’s mission and vision. I also provide support on client-

funded as well as; NSTIP funded projects in the capacity of co-investigator and principal investigator

respectively; details are appended in the project involvement section. Due to multidisciplinary nature of

the work, extensive research collaborations are also in place to ensure the quality and strategic

relevance to overall Center’s research objectives. Responding to this issue, I have fostered

collaborations at KFUPM and with other universities within the Kingdom and outside. Some of my

published papers and ongoing research activities are resulted from this collaborative work,and

contributes towards KFUPM international image.

I am a regular reviewer for several journals, research projects (for different funding authority), and have

acted as an external examiner for a number of PhD and MS thesis. I have further attended and

presented at national and international conferences.

Final year project (FYP) for BSc (Eng.): External Examiner and Internal Examiner at Punjab University, GIKI (Pakistan) continue for four years and over 100 students FYP were evaluated and oral exam were conducted.

For two years I was in-charge and conduct entry test at Islamabad (Pakistan) for GIKI where over 1500 candidates appeared
