Very simple design No title and no artist name suggesting that people know who’s the album is

Key information around the CD is small as to not draw too much attention to it and keep the attention on the CD

Genre Convention of a bar code as it would be brought in a shop meaning it would need a barcode

List of songs that corresponds with the order of the songs in the booklet

Lots of blank space on the back cover shows the lack of information need on the back cover

This is the only time the artists name appears on the outside of CD

Links to his website as a way to get closer to him and allowing him to communicate with his fans

Outline photo of the artist really showing off who it is and the image makes him really recognisanble and even without colour you can tell who it is

Page 11: Secondary research ancillary

The artist is featured on the cover showing that people may not know who she is or may only know her from what she looks like Dark colours but no apparent

colour scheme on the cover as there are many different on the cover

The artists name is bigger than the album name showing that people may know who she is but not what her album is called

Everything is linked in to cats. The lion head in the middle of her name, the Lion by the side of the bed and the fact that album is called feline

The use of a lion of the cover captures the attention of the audience and draws them into the cover and is well used to capture the attention of people who may not even wanted to by the album

The use of a well know setting makes it relatable to everyone as everyone knows what a bedroom looks like and the kind of things to feature in a bedroom

Page 12: Secondary research ancillary

Logo of the music company to which the artist belongs telling fans where to find out information about the artist

The black background on the CD links to the colour of the clothes the artist is wearing on the cover

Page 14: Secondary research ancillary

Direct link to the website as this is the main photo that appears at the top of the website

Very simple of image of just the artist to highlight the fact that it is her song

Simple use of just her name and the title of the song. Simple use of a projection to put them over her makes the picture look very sophisticated even though it is very simple

Very simple colour scheme of light pink, light grey black and a tan skin colour.

The simple colour of the background really helps her and the title of the song stand out

Page 15: Secondary research ancillary

Very simple colour scheme of monotone colours except the title of the album which is in pink

Just like the focus cover she is again the central focus point of the cover and is the first thing that really captures the audiences attention

Like the focus cover it is a very simple photo of the artist the some text photo shopped over the top of it

There are two different typefaces a cursive one and and a capitalised to draw attention to the album name and the artists name

Page 16: Secondary research ancillary

Continuation of the colour scheme showing the coming together of the product

No lyrics to her songs just credits for the people who helped create the songs

Continuation of the 2 different typefaces the cursive used to say the job the they did and the capitalised one to say the name of the person

Information is very lengthy and there is a lot of information to read and is a bit to long to sit a read through

Detailed black and white photo in the middle of the booklet keeping the whole colour scheme running through the whole product

Page 17: Secondary research ancillary

Continuation of the colour scheme showing the coming together of the product

Again a simple photo of Ariana Grande to again showing who's album it is

The continuation of the 2 typefaces to show the continuation of the theme

The pink on the white doesn’t really work because the pink is so light that you cant really read what it says
