    Blindness prevalence in Indonesia is 1.5%, which is high comparedto other South East Asian countries. Some of them are avoidableblindness. Effort to decrease the incidence of blindness has to bemade by early detection and make an appropriate management.

    As an Ophthalmologist, we have an important role to support thispurpose. Continuing medical education particularly in this issueis a good way to improve our capability to be able to achievthis purpose. Therefore Indonesian Ophthalmologist Association,West Java region arrange the meeting to provide many newissues related to our mission Blindness is Our ResponsibilityWe will focus the meeting on Cataract, Glaucoma, Cornea andCommunity Ophthalmology issue as well as Entrepreneurship inOphthalmology. We are Privileged to have many Internationalspeakers as well as local speakers in our mee ting.

    The meeting will undoubtedly serve as an invaluable platform forexchange of ideas, receive many new issues in Ophthalmology andimprove the skill in ophthalmic surgery as well as in diagnostic skill.We encourage you to join us and look forward to welcoming you toour exciting meeting and rewarding experience in Bandung.
