Our girl can’t resist her red shoes. They make
her dance with delight, spin with possibilities.
But what happens when she can’t get them
off? What happens when she can’t stop
dancing?
Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fairytale,
watch as our Year 10 and 11’s bring this story
to life.

Year 13 will be performing extracts from
Sarah Kane’s final play ‘4.48 Psychosis’
using Gecko as influencing practitioner.
4:48 Psychosis raises the question of what
constitutes theatre. Is this a case study in
psychotic depression, a work of art, or both?
Can one call language without boundaries a
play? What direction remains for
contemporary theatre to take following total
fragmentation?

Farlingaye High School is proud to present
as our Upper School production ‘Fiddler on
the Roof’. This award-winning show is a
musical theatre classic: uplifting, full of
humour, warmth and honesty. The theme is
still relevant to us today: maintaining
traditions in a world of change. It centres on
the struggles of philosophical milkman Tevye
and his family in a small Russian community
in 1905. Featuring a full student orchestra,
with superb music, singing and dancing.

Queen of the fairies, and, as if that wasn’t
enough, a troupe of amateur actors are trying to
rehearse a play. Between these unlikely groups
flies Puck, armed only with a wicked sense of
humour and a love potion capable of making
anyone fall for the first person they set eyes
