Andrew grows distant from "att and again nds himself alone and

$npop$lar at school. After #eing #$llied, he $ses his power to tearseveral teeth from the #$ll&s mo$th. Andrew #egins to identifhimself as an ape' predator, rationali1ing that he sho$ld not feelg$ilt for $sing his power to h$rt those wea+er than himself. hen hismother&s condition deteriorates, Andrew $ses his powers to stealmone for her medicine. After m$gging some local th$gs, he ro#s agas station where he inadvertentl ca$ses an e'plosion that p$tshim in the hospital and $nder police investigation. At his #edside,his $pset father informs the $nconscio$s Andrew that his motherhas died, and he angril #lames Andrew for her death. As his fatheris a#o$t to stri+e him, Andrew awa+ens to stop his father&s p$nchand #lows o$t the o$ter wall of the hospital room.

Andrew drops his father, who is saved # "att, andproceeds to wrea+ havoc with his powers. "att confronts Andrew atthe Space 4eedle and tries to reason with him, #$t Andrew grows

increasingl hostile and irrational at an attempt to tell him what todo. Andrew attac+s "att and the pair ght across the cit, crashingthro$gh #$ildings and h$rling vehicles. Andrew, in$red andenraged, #egins $sing his power to destro the #$ildings aro$ndhim, threatening man other lives. 5na#le to get thro$gh to Andrew,"att tears a spear from a near# stat$e and impales Andrew, +illinghim. he police s$rro$nd "att, #$t he 2ies awa.

Some time later, "att lands in i#et with Andrews camera. Spea+ingto the camera while addressing Andrew, "att vows to $se hispowers for good and to nd o$t what happened to them in the hole.

"att positions the camera to view a i#etan monaster in thedistance and sas 67o$ made it6 #efore 2ing awa, leaving thecamera #ehind to contin$e recording the tran%$il scene
