GPB-TV Cheer Special on Nov. 27Georgia Public Broadcasting will televise a GHSA
Cheerleading Championship one-hour special recapping theaction in Columbus to air on Wednesday, November 27 at 7:00p.m., on GPB-TV.

The eighth annual GHSA-Tommy Guillebeau StateFootball Championships, presented by Farm BureauInsurance, will again be televised live by Georgia PublicBroadcasting – this year from a new location. The gamesreturn to the weekend, after last year’s Tuesday/Wednesdayschedule, but this year from Georgia State Stadium.
G P B ’ s coverage will begin at 10:00a.m., on Friday, December 13, withthe Class A p r i v a t es c h o o l game. Thelineup for the remainder ofthe day includes the Class 2A game at 1:00 p.m., followedby the Class 5A game at 4:30 p.m., and the Class 6A gameat 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, eight more teams will compete forstate titles. Up first at 10:00 a.m., is the Class A public schooltitle game. At 1:00 p.m., it’s the Class 3A game. At 4:30 p.m.,it’s the 4A title game, and at 8:00 p.m., the 7A final.
This year’s on-air talent for GPB’s coverage includes MattStewart, Wayne Gandy, Jon Nelson, Hannah Goodin, NikkiNoto Palmer, Larry Smith, Sam Crenshaw, Lericia Harris andWiley Ballard.

All games will be televised live throughout the state ofGeorgia and into parts of Florida, Alabama and Tennesseeon Georgia Public Broadcasting and streamed live atGPB.org/sports and NFHSNetwork.com/GHSA.
GPB has nine television stations across Georgia and isin more than 98 percent of the homes in the state. GPB is thethird largest PBS station in the country based on populationreach and has been the most watched public station in thecountry on the days of the football championship broadcasts.
