Message from our Principal
Welcome to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 2013 SEASAC Badminton tournament. It isour pleasure at Garden International School to host you; the athletes, families and staff from all competing schools.
In the spirit of SEASAC we hope that over the next two days you will take part in a greatcompetition, make some friends and experience some of the hospitality of Malaysia. These two days give you a wonderful opportunity to get to know your team mates, teachers and opposition.
The organisation and running of these games has relied on a great deal of goodwill, hard work and support from many people. I would like to take this opportunity to thankthose who have supported this event and without whom the tournament would not havegone ahead. Our Sports Department for coordinating the event, the tireless work of our teachers and support staff, the Setia Badminton Academy for extending us the use of
their outstanding facilities; and last but not least to your teachers, coaches andsupporters, without whom you would not be here.
This tournament provides an opportunity for you to excel, compete at the highest leveland learn to both win and lose graciously. Most of all it must be fun, so be competitivebut not at the expense of making this a positive experience for all.
Stuart Walker
