Today’s organisations rely on collecting and storing massive amounts of enterprise data. This information is both the operational life-blood, and a crucial source of business insight. In fact, a $12bn business intelligence software market has grown up in order to help business users answer today’s challenging business questions utilizing insight from this data.

If we look at the evolution of BI – we start with well-known and widely implemented BI platforms.

While these traditional business intelligence tools are great at delivering highly structured, scheduled reports - all too often business users are left with pre-determined, out-of-date information.
