The Vermilion Chapter of GUNAA supports the appointment of Dr. Frank Pogue as president of GramblingState University. He has demonstrated his ability to lead and has shown us that he is a capable andunderstanding person who works and communicates well with his constituents. As president, he will be in aposition to make contacts with persons who will assist him in his efforts with some assurance that they willseriously consider his overtures as the leader of the university rather than as interim.

Please give the appointment of Dr. Pogue the serious consideration that he has earned during his shorttenure here at Grambling State which has demonstrated that he is worthy of his reputation as a serious, dedicated and successful educational leader.

Thank you for your affirmative vote.

Dear Committee,I am writing to support Dr. Frank Pogue for President of Grambling State

University. It was a priveledge to meet him personally at the Grand Opening of the EddieRobinson Museum.I was impressed with his objectives for the university and his earlier meeting withthe students of the university.. .he actually strolled around the campus speakinginformally with them.
