Innovation & Cutting-Edge Technologies
Innovation is in ADELTE’s DNA. Our dedicated engineers
continuously strive to improve our products, enabling us to deliver
innovative systems. ADELTE’s SPBBs incorporate the most advanced
elevation and drive technologies, state-of-the-art automation and
direct access design for easy maintenance. Some of the other
innovative technologies that are offered are our own developed
HVAC system, remote access via web for diagnostics and
monitoring, solar panels, remote obstacle detection, etc.
Versatility
Uniquely Designed
Each Ferry and Cruise Terminal is unique and therefore each
facility requires specific logistical and operational solutions that
best fits its particular needs. ADELTE SPBBs are totally
custom-designed by an expert team of engineers who take
multiple variables in consideration during the design, like: wharf
layout and load capacity, range of vessels to serve, port traffic
and shoreside logistics, passenger flows, security, climate
conditions, aesthetic and architectural considerations, etc.
Our SPBBs include electro-mechanical and hydraulic drive and
elevation technologies. They can be defined to serve a large
variety of ferry and cruise ships, including those with
overhanging lifeboats, and to overcome many challenges faced
by terminal operators.
Maximum Comfort & Easy Access for All
We strongly believe that from the moment passengers enter our
SPBB, they begin their journey. Therefore we strive to create a
unique boarding experience, making a positive contribution to a
passenger’s perception of the service. All our SPBBs enable
step-free access with limited slopes, thus ensuring that the
highest level of comfort is enjoyed by ALL passengers, including
those with reduced mobility.
Key Features
Superior Quality & Durability
Quality is a must. All our SPBBs are designed for an operational
lifespan of 20 to 30 years. Structures are made of high quality
steel and protected from corrosion by ISO 12944 C5M category
paint. All materials and components are rigorously tested and
certified according to European and International standards.
Integral Safety System
ADELTE SPBBs provide total safety for people (passengers and
operators) and structures (ships and terminal buildings) and
comply with up-to-date worldwide safety and security standards.
