We enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch, our meals are fresh, generous and varied. Special dietary requirements need to be advised in advance.

There will be plenty of time for taking in the scenery, relaxing, exploring, swimming and taking photos. Back on board our kayaks, we explore sights missed on the way out and at the end of the afternoon we cruise back into the sheltered and welcoming waters of Bakka.

Our aim is to make you a competent kayaker by the end of the day and we are sure you will find Sea kayaking surprisingly easy and fun as well as discovering a new passion in life!All clients receive personalized instruction and briefing.We return to Voss late afternoon where we arrive around 6pm. There is corresponding trains and buses back to Bergen from Voss - ask us for updated details and timetables.

You can meet at our base in Voss at 9am or at the Gudvangen base at 10:15am (Train Bergen -Voss 07:58am or bus departing Flåm to Gudvangen 9:25am)We then introduce you to your guide and the other members of the day’s group. We provide you with personal paddle gear for the day and head out for a very scenic drive to the fjord.

The scenery at the fjord is spectacular and here we will spend the day in our kayaks!During the tour we visit waterfalls and pass small local farms, as we paddle thru the narrow fjord that is only a few hundred meters wide at places. We are likely to spot seals, seen on most tours and occasionally local species of small dolphins.

2 Day Guided Kayaking - Fully Catered

A 2 day, one-way sea kayak tour where we paddle thru the full length of the Nærøyfjord and enter the Aurlandsfjord. Plenty of time for exploring and relaxing.

3 Day Guided Kayaking & Hiking - Fully Catered

A 3 Day, one-way sea kayak tour where we explore the Nærøyfjord, the mountains above Dyrdal and the Aurlandsfjord. Experience the best of both worlds!

Our overnight tours are supreme winners amongst those Nordic Ventures’ clients that can fit 2 or 3 days adventure into their itinerary.Meet interesting people and make new friends on the water or during the evening relaxing around the campfire with a glass of wine. Our guide will ensure an unforgettable fun time for all the members of the groups they lead.

Guides, transport, equipment, food etc. is all included. Meals are fresh, generous and varied. We can cater for most tastes and vegetarians are welcome. Accommodation is in tents which are provided by us. You should bring your own sleeping bag and Therm-A-Rest. ( these are available for rent if you do not have your own ).

Please note that we require a minimum of 4 people in order to set up an overnight tour. If we have tours already set up to go out you are welcome to come along, should your group be less than minimum numbers.You find more detailed tour information and dates for already set up and confirmed tours on our website. Renting a kayak gives you the freedom to explore the fjord region at your own pace. With that freedom comes responsibility: for yourself, your group, and the environment. If you are unsure about your ability, join us on one of our guided tours.

We offer advice and information on packing your kayak, weather assessment, trip planning, and rescue techniques.

The Lake Tours are our shorter guided kayaking experience, a pleasant introduction to Sea Kayaking with great opportunities to bring along the kids.

Tour includes gourmet barbeque lunch and is ideal for families - we offer a discount for kids below 15 when accompanied by their parents.

The tour take 4-5 hours - we paddle on one of the lakes around Voss and stop for a break midway. Our guides will ensure an unforgettable fun time for the members of the group they lead.

We run the tour on either Lønavatnet or Vangsvatnet, weather and group dependant. We have special sized paddle equipment for youngsters, providing them a comfortable experience and a great introduction to Sea Kayaking! We require a minimum of 4 people to run this tour. If you are booking for less you may have to join our daytour instead.
