Arkansas Federation for Advanced

University of Arkansas at Monticello-

purpose is to implement an

apprenticeship-style training that will

create a pipeline of highly skilled

workers in manufacturing production and operations..

As a participant in Arkansas FAME you’ll learn the following:

A multi-skilled technical curriculum that includes electricity, robotics,fluid power, industrial mechanics, programmable logic controllers, industrial troubleshooting and much more.

Manufacturing Core Exercises that prepare you to contribute to a safeand highly efficient, cost effective workplace. Courses include SafetyCulture, Visual Workplace Organization, Lean Manufacturing, Problem-Solving and Machine Reliability.

Finally, the Six Professional Behaviors that include work attendance, initiative, diligence, interpersonal relations, teamwork, verbal and written communication.

Alvar Resins, Inc. is a privately owned company. The Crossett plant began operation in May 2012. Alvar Resins, Inc. mainly produces rosin based modified resins that are sold into the ink and adhesive manufacturing markets. Soybean oil is also used to produce alkyds, which are also sold into the ink manufacturing market. Return
