TOURNAMENT RULESTOURNAMENT RULES

1. Home team will be established prior to each game by a coin flip.

Home team will be official scorekeeper. Dugouts are on a first come, first serve basis.

2. The NCAA Rule book 2013 shall be used for this tournament. 3. The 8-run rule will be in effect after 5 innings. 4. All protests that cannot be handled by the umpires will be at the

discretion of the Tournament Director. 5. Pre-game warm-up may not be taken on the playing fields. Use of

adjacent fields is suggested. 6. Official game ball is Diamond. Please bring two (2) new game

balls, one for each pool play game. 7. After each game the winning team will report the scores to the

Tournament Director, Kathy McGinnis. 8. The tournament sponsors, it’s officials, the SDCCD and San Diego

City College shall not be responsible for any injury incurred by players or coaches during this 2 day event.

GAME GUIDELINES: GAME GUIDELINES:

POOL PLAY-Day One Seven innings or no new inning after 90 minutes. Must play 5 innings.

International tie-breaker begins with the 8th inning.

SINGLE ELIMINATION-Day Two Seven innings or no new inning after 90 minutes unless tied. International tie-

breaker begins with the 8th inning or if time has expired and teams are tied. Play out games until a winner is established. Must play 5 innings. Championship games (11 & 12) will be full games, no time limit. International tie-breaker begins with the
