A church bell toll can be heard at the beginning of each shot.

Fade in: The camera shows a man sitting on bench from behind smoking. This shot then fades out.

Fade in: the camera shows an establishing shot of the school from far away. This then fades out.

Fade in: The camera then shows the feet of a man walking towards the school using a worm’s eye view shot.

The camera then cuts to a side mid-shot of the man walking past the school sign.

The camera then cuts to the front of the man as he walks towards the camera.

The screen then turns black with the film title: Columbine appearing on the screen. Two gun shots can be heard.
