SAFETY FACTOR
• This indicates the ratio between de MBL & WLL. For the standard Mitari range shackles the safety factor is 6:1.
This means that the shackle may only break once it is overloaded by a factor of at least 6 times its designed WLL.
FINISH
• Hot dipped galvanized: The finished product is hot-dipped galvanized according to the customary standards.
SIDE LOADS
• The WLL of a shackle is based on a straight load of 0 degrees.
• Side loads should be avoided, as the products are not designed for this purpose.
• If the side loads cannot be avoided, the WLL of the shackles must be reduced. When the angle is more than 0 degrees, the WLL of the shackle decreases.
