• The National Diving Officer is a volunteer who is responsible for all the technical aspects of diving, safety and training.
• National Diving Officer heads a National Diving Committee.
• Five groups– Diving– Diver Training– Instructor Training– Technical– Services

• To promote ‘going diving’• To build on the BSAC Diver Training Programme• To produce quality support materials for quality
skill development courses • To maintain high standards in instructing and
