Scott has been in church leadership for over 25 years. He has been a youth pastor, a small groups pastor and most recently a teaching pastor. Scott graduated from Bethany College in 1987 and has since served in ministry. Scott has a heart for those that are seeking spiritual truth and has dedicated his life to helping people on their spiritual journey.

In his role as teaching pastor at Green Valley Community Church in Placerville, CA. Scott has shared preaching duties, developed and implemented a small group program across the whole church as well as being responsible for all Student Ministry Directors including Nursery, Elementary, Junior High and High School. Scott also developed and implemented a Life Skills Program; a semester-based program of over 25 classes, seminars & support groups which serve over 1200 students annually.

Scott and Kellie have been married 27 wonderful years and have lived in Northern California all their lives. They have two beautiful daughters, Taylor, 23 and Brooke, 19. Scott loves playing and coaching basketball. He has been coaching girl's varsity at the local high school for 8 years. He likes to play golf in his spare time. Scott grew up in the Bay Area and is an avid Raider fan, but he does admit that he is a glutton for punishment and has learned to live with disappointment. Kellie loves drama (the theater kind) and loves interior decorating. She currently owns her own business refinishing kitchen cabinets. Taylor lives in San Luis Obispo, Ca., where she works as a hair stylist in a local salon. Brooke currently is a sophomore at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.

They love to spend time outdoors going on walks and hikes or to the beach as a family and also going out to dinner. They are crazy about Disneyland and go at least once a year.
