Air Force, I am retiring at the rank of Major, as a combat veteran and as an aviation safety expert. I am looking forward to transitioning to civilian employment where I can apply my vast experience to a respected aviation or space corporation. I am interested in a position as a director for flight safety management, an aviation accident investigation specialist or as an aviation safety consultant. I look forward to becoming a valuable team member within the commercial flight or space safety community. My training and experience in aviation safety program management, safety management systems and aviation accident investigations makes me a well-qualified candidate who will tirelessly work to improve the safety environment for employees and customers. Although I have been working safety issues within the military for most of my adult life, I am very familiar with the civilian airline transportation industry. My father is a retired military pilot and a retired Continental Airlines B-777 Captain and my brother currently flies as an ExpressJet ERJ-145 Captain. I am well aware of how the civil airline industry operates and I get updates on current news and events. The combination of my aviation safety experience and knowledge of the civil aviation transportation industry will allow me to be a great aviation safety expert for any aviation or space enterprise. I have uploaded my resume to your website and I have references available upon request. At the beginning of March, I will be available to meet for further employment discussions. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Dear Sir, Culminating 22 years of honorable and decorated service in the U. S. Air Force, I am retiring at the rank of Major, as a combat veteran and as an aviation safety expert. I look forward to becoming a valuable team member within the commercial flight or space safety community. My training and experience in aviation safety program management, safety management systems and aviation accident investigations makes me a well-qualified candidate who will tirelessly work to improve the safety environment for employees and customers.
