Geofences

ScorpionTrack Fleet's geofence system allows you to designate specific areas where your vehicles are allowed

or not allowed. This means you can easily label and retrieve important areas such as work sites, customer

addresses or even local businesses.

Geofences can be assigned colours to enable you to differentiate between different types of locations. This

enables you to effectively manage the vehicle activities associated with the custom areas that you have

designated. Geofence activity monitoring is also included within all report types, geofence alerts, on the live

map and the dashboard.

Geofences of Any Shape and Size

ScorpionTrack Fleet's industry leading technology allows you to create geofences that have one of two types

'circular' or 'polygon'. The 'circular' type has a single center point with a customisable radius and can be used

to designate circular zones. The 'polygon' type may have any number of points and enables you to easily

You can generate a report on virtually any aspect of your fleet operation over any predefined or user defined

date range, from the previous 365 days. Reports can be configured to display the activity of either the entire

fleet, individual vehicles and/or drivers, groups of vehicles or any combination of these options. Reports can

also be grouped by either driver or vehicle and then further summarised into either daily or monthly reviews.

Reports can either be viewed instantly 'Online' using the web interface or exported and downloaded instantly

into various file formats including 'HTML', 'Adobe PDF' and 'Microsoft Excel'. This enables you to further

process the reports as you desire. Reports that are viewed online include our innovative pop-up map feature

showing the full history of the specified journey. Reports that are viewed online also feature our innovative

‘flagged journeys’ system, enabling you to mark specific events for later perusal.

Scheduled Reports

The scheduled report section allows you to easily design a customised report which can then be automatically

emailed to the specified user, users, or email address. The report will be delivered on a predefined or user

defined schedule.

time periods. You can configure the report to be sent as an email attachment in various file formats including

Daily Summary Report - The daily summary report allows you to generate reports that are summarised by day.

This allows you to easily keep track of you entire fleet's daily activities. Each row of the report will contain the

total activities for an entire day.

Monthly Summary Report - The monthly summary report allows you to generate reports that are summarised

by month. This allows you to easily keep track of you entire fleet's monthly activities. Each row of the report

will contain the total activities for an entire month. Flexible - The daily and monthly summary reports can be

configured to use any of the other report types listed below.

Journey Report - The journey report allows you to view each journey (from ignition on, to ignition off) that the

specified vehicles have made. This allows you to easily access journey information such as: start/end time,

driver, journey time, idle time, working hours, distance, average speed, top speed, carbon emissions, fuel cost

and the start/end address or geofence.

Idle Time Report - The idle time report allows you to view the time spent idle (ignition on but no actual

movement) for the specified vehicles. The idle time report will only return data for those journeys where the

specified vehicles have been idle for a period of time greater than the idle constraint entered. This allows you

to easily access information about all the idle events such as: start/end time, driver, idle time, idle cost and the

address or geofence.

Speed Violation Report - The speed violation report allows you to view time time spent speeding for the

specified vehicles. The speed violation report will only return data for those journeys where the specified

vehicles have exceeded the speed violation constraint entered. This allows you to easily access information

about speeding events such as start/end time, driver, speeding time, distance, average speed, top speed, total

cost, carbon emissions and the start/end address or geofence.

Triggered Alert Report - The triggered alert report allows you to view all alerts that have been triggered for

the specified vehicles. The report can be configured to return data for all alert types or for a specific alert type.

This allows you to easily access information about alert events such as: time, driver, name, type, level, cause,

custom constraint and the address or geofence.

Odd Hours Report - The odd hours report allows you to view each journey that occurred outside of the times

specified for the selected vehicles, allowing you to identify possible misuse of the fleet. The report allows you

to easily access information such as: start/end time, driver, journey time, idle time, working hours, distance,

average speed, top speed, carbon emissions and the start/end location or geofence.

Geofence / POI / Location Report - The geofence (point of interest) or locations report allows you to view the

time spent at the selected geofences for the specified vehicles, perfect for identifying delivery time at a

customer's premises. The report can be configured to return data for all geofences or for a specific geofence.

This allows you to easily access information such as: entry/exit time, driver, time spent within the geofence,

and the name of the geofence that the vehicle was within.

Engine Hours Report - The engine hours report allows you to view (in hours) the total time spent with the

engine running for the specified vehicles. This allows you to easily access information such as start/end time,

driver, engine hours, idle time, distance and the start end location or geofence.

Engine Service Report (Since Last Vehicle Service) - The engine service allows you to view (in hours) the total

time spent with the engine running for the specified vehicles. This allows you to easily access usage

information and monitor the maintenance requirements for each vehicle in the fleet. The report will be

generated from the date of the vehicles last service to the present date. An alert can also be configured to

automatically be triggered when a vehicle has exceeded a pre-set engine hour limit since the last service.

Vehicle Ignition - The ignition alert is designed to be triggered when a vehicle or vehicles ignition is first

switched on.

Speed Limit - The speed limit alert is designed to be triggered when a vehicle or vehicles exceed the speed

limit (miles per hour) set in the configuration for the alert.

Idle Limit - The idle limit alert is designed to be triggered when a vehicle or vehicles exceed the idle limit

(minutes) set in the configuration for the alert.

Engine Hour Limit - The engine hour limit is designed to be triggered when a vehicle or vehicles exceed the

engine hour limit (hours) set in the configuration for the alert. The engine hour limit is the amount of time (in

hours) that the vehicle has spent with its engine on since the last vehicle service date.
