The entire material which is needed for the project will be provided by SALTEC. For materials being supplied directly from special manufacturers, delivery controls will be executed by us in order to ensure the requested quality. For any HV parts SALTEC carries out the factory acceptance tests in the presence of our personnel exclusively.
Product Supply
All HV materials, such as high voltage cables, terminations for outdoor, switchgear and transformer applications as well as HV joints with and without screen separation
Phase and ground wires with integrated optical fibres
Link boxes, bonding cables, optical fibre cables and accessories
DTS systems for temperature monitoring of cables and overhead lines
All auxiliary materials, e.g. for steel‐ and civil works, as well as the relevant parts for the power distribution at substations
Materials supplied by SALTEC
In front of a project the utility company needs to know which techniques and procedures which are optimal in order to transmit the required energy.SALTEC provides the full range of engineering and design works to offer the most efficient and economic solution.
Design Freeze
Calculations (ampacity, statics)Drawings (components, designs)Feasibility studies, respecting the applicablelaws for the works on siteConsideration of national and internationalStandards (IEC 62067/60840)
Design FreezeStarting with the Engineering, so the technical part:
Considering economic aspectsComparison between different techniquesLooking for a future‐oriented solution
Design Freezeup to the commercial part, which means:
Up to 500 kVTerminations (outdoor, switchgear, transformer), oil filled and dry typeJoints with anti corrosion protection housing or shrinkage sleeve
Accessories
For the civil works in the scope of a project a lot of coordination between the several parties is needed in advance as well as during the execution of the relevant works, in order to cover the full range of Project Management, e.g.:
Civil Works
Civil Works
Fixing the route of the HV line, together with the customer and responsible authorities and/or agencies
Getting the permissions for the necessary accesses and digging works, both from public and from private property owners
Evaluation of any required material, such as concrete, steel etc.
QHSE (Quality/Health/Safety/Environment regulations) according to national and international PM Standards
Time Management of all running processes and involved companies in order to keep the overall time schedule for an on‐time‐commissioning of the new line
Execution of work will be carried out preferably by local subcontractors to SALTEC
The project management contains the responsibility for this sector as well.

Project Pavlovskaya
The installation works for any HV material will be executed by our own experienced and internationally certified personnel.
The processes running in parallel are being coordinated by our Project Management, to keep the negative impacts between the several crafts as low as possible.
Installation
Providing the required working platforms and conditions for the ongoing processes/works
Availability of necessary equipment, tools, materials and personnel
Short termed reaction time in case of any arising, unforeseeable events and issues
Flexibility of installation staff concerning any influences from third parties
Installation of HV parts in a clean surrounding, in order to ensure the high quality standards needed

Documentation and Commissioning
At the end of the project the commissioning procedure needs to be prepared and executed afterwards. The relevant parties have to provide all necessary documentation in order to get the new HV line in service. This procedure will be initialized and monitored by SALTEC.
Documentation and Commissioning
Requesting and collecting all documents needed for the completion of the works, to be provided for the final customer / authorities / national grid company before and after commissioning
Preparing the site acceptance test (SAT) according to the valid standards, to be signed later by all responsible parties
Witnessing the tests on site before putting the new line under voltage
Handing over the complete as‐built‐report after the successful SAT
Coordination with international classification companies is common practice
