From the Directors Desk
Our Commitment at Symbiosis Centre for Manage-ment Studies, Pune (SCMS) is to provide a learning environment that attracts ideas from different cul-tures and thus helps in dissemination of relevant management education and ethical leadership. While academic excellence is our major thrust, stu-dents are offered the opportunities to learn, develop skills, grow and expand their horizons with the help of a host of extracurricular activities along with their academics.
The newsletter is a platform to showcase the merits and achievements of our dear students and all associated with SCMS. I am sure the newsletter will serve to reinforce and allow increased awareness, improved interac-tion and integration among all of us. It is yet another medium to provide acknowl-edgement and respect for all the efforts of our team. In 2018-19 also, our students, both old and new brought home laurels in diverse areas. We had faculty from re-puted Foreign Universities on our campus to teach our students and of course col-laborate with our faculty. Some of our students went abroad for Internships and we were ranked as the best BBA institute by Times BBA ranking.
My thanks to Prof. Neha and Mr. Angelo for bringing out this edition of the news-
letter. I am sure we will see many more in the future . Do read, enjoy and guide us
as always.
