TVAC system status• Good pumpdown performance during MAESTRO baseline

tests• Temperature and Pressure monitoring systems work fine• LN2 shroud tested successfully • He target tested successfully• Baseplate handling system tested successfully• New thermal bath to be implemented ?• Gate valve is currntly under repair

• BaF2 and ZnSe windows have never been tested with the tank

Collimator System Status • Alignment system complete, works fine• Xe & QI configurations tested with MAESTRO during

baseline tests (Oct 2002)• NO2 handling process in place and tested• Succesful gas absorption measurements taken during

baseline tests. • Ozone cell remains untested with collimator system• Cell temperature and pressure monitoring to be

implemented• FTS gas cell not tested • 3000K black body not tested• Nitrogen purge tent not finished • Hybrid attenuators for FTS testing not built yet• Polarizers not tested with MAESTRO

Integrated laser platform status

• 4 beam expanded lasers (325nm, 532nm, 670nm and 830nm) are combined using a holographic grating

• Laser platform has been assembled & partially tested during MAESTRO baseline tests

• Laser assembly needs to be re-aligned and tested with MAESTRO

QI - Spectralon calibration jig

• This unit has been used many times by MSC for absolute radiance calibration

• A new current control algorithm is part of the EGSE & has been used successfully

Solar simulator

• Was used for MOPITT characterization, the plan is to use it for FTS imager field tests

• All parts seem to be present, but it hasn't been used in several years

EGSE Status

• EGSE was successfully used for MAESTRO baseline testing (MAESTRO controller , OGSE controller and TVAC Interface PC's)

• PC Anywhere has been installed on all PC's

• Some scripts need to be revised

• UDP interface with FTS EGSE has not yet been tested

• Sending scripts to MAESTRO and FTS simultaneously has not been tested
