Our International Day of Peace! t was great to see many of you at this past Wednesday’s Learning Night. It was an excellent opportunity to see some of the various learning activities your children experience throughout the day. If you missed it, do not worry as we will have another Learning Night in Semester two. For those of you traveling I wish you a safe and pleasant journey and we look forward to welcoming you back. Chinese Culture Lessons Zhong Qiu Jie Kuai Le/Happy Mid- Autumn Festival! This past week we had our first Chinese Culture lessons where our students learned about both the festival and the history of and how to make Moon Cakes! To see more on the culture lessons please visit the Mandarin Department website (click on each grade level page listed on the top too) here. Heart 2 Heart Toiletries Collection We will have a collection bin in the main lobby following the fall holiday, if you are traveling please bring back any of the small shampoos, toothbrushes, soaps, etc. from your hotel and send them in with your child. Thank you for helping us further support our ECE Campus charitable partner Heart to Heart! Cooler Weather Fall is upon us and the weather grows ever cooler. To ensure students are dressed appropriately the uniform shop is open Monday to Friday every school day. Long sleeve shirts, pants and cardigans are available for purchase. People to Know at the ECE Let us introduce our Early Year’s Coordinator, Ms. Stacey Poncia. She supports the students, teachers, and parents of the Nursery to Pre- Kindergarten at the ECE.
