Scientist - Immunoassay Development Job Reference: R&D Location: Carlsbad, CA Posted: September 2017 Weekly Hour: 40 The Role At DNA Electronics Ltd, we are integrating cutting-edge semiconductor technologies with novel biochemical techniques to develop products for DNA analysis and molecular diagnostics. The right candidate will be self-starting, detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have familiarity with standard immunochemistry, microbiology and biochemistry techniques. Responsibilities Perform experiments and procedures in accordance with written protocols Documenting, reporting, and presenting results of experiments and procedures Following work instructions and SOPs, documenting procedures as required by the Quality Management System Assisting in maintaining laboratory equipment Qualifications & Experience BS in applicable life sciences (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry and Immunology) and 0-4 years of work experience in the field. Experience with standard laboratory and microbial techniques such as aseptic technique and bacterial culture. Knowledge of standard immunological, molecular biological, and/or biochemical techniques is a plus. Excellent organizational and project management skills Commitment to help the team achieve deliverables and meet aggressive timelines. The Role At DNA Electronics Ltd, we are integrating cutting-edge semiconductor technologies with novel biochemical techniques to develop products for DNA analysis and molecular diagnostics.
