Breakthrough technologies and treatments, emerging markets, the power of the

information age and societal needs and demands will guide session topics and

be complemented by debates, posters and many opportunities to network and

share with fellow scientists, researchers, industry representatives and students.

FIP, the 2014 PSWC Programme Committee and the local Organising Committee

in Melbourne are looking forward to creating an event that equals previous

PSWCs in scope and opportunities for advancing the pharmaceutical sciences

on a global level.

5TH FIP PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES WORLD CONGRESS

The Board of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) is pleased

to bring the 5th PSWC to Melbourne, Australia in 2014.

Not only will the Congress uphold its world-renowned reputation for top quality speakers, symposia

and posters, but will once again provide a forum for the most extensive international network of

pharmaceutical scientists to make an impact on the future of pharmaceutical sciences and global

healthcare.

The programme will discuss scientific discovery and progress in the context of such issues as emerging

markets, with a focus on Asian pharmaceutical sciences and the regulatory framework that supports

them and a special stream on pharmacoepidemiology.

The PSWC 2014 will also foster the development a new generation of visionary and ground-breaking

pharmaceutical scientists via a special stream for students.
